I’ve had Sleep Apnea for about 12 years. I had a lot of anxiety with wearing the masks on and off for pretty much all that time. I was in a constant spacey dream world for years! I am now able to keep the mask on for around 4 hours per night which I know is not enough but I feel better then I did when I didn’t wear it. I’ve read recently about the relationship between Sleep Apnea and Alzheimer’s disease and it’s scaring me because I have a very bad memory now. Would greatly appreciate some information about this!

A quick Google search will turn up dozens of articles and papers addressing this question. Generally the findings indicate that there is a distinct link between the two conditions and that sustained use of CPAP has measurable benefits. Here are a few papers you might like to look through:
