Fisher Paykel Simplus:
If you’ve seen the Fisher Paykel Eson (nose backward….lame) then this is its big brother. It looks virtually identical except
that it covers the nose and mouth making mough leaking a moot point.
The headgear is very well made. It’s highly adjustable, well padded, and the velcro isn’t the cheap stuff. This has survived some serious abuse in our sleep lab.
The cushion material itself is fine. It seals very well and all that blah blah blah. The cool thing is that near the nose where people tend to over tighten is a “shock absorber” making overtightening on the nose tough to do. This means no more pressure sores on the bridge of your nose. I think they call it roll fit “technology”….regardless….it’s cool.
There is a 360 swivel where the tubing attaches which means you won’t feel like you’re a dog on a leash. The diffuser is SUPER quiet. We also like that this has clips for easy detaching of the headgear when many other masks are getting away from this. Only bad thing is that there is no quick release for the tubing that would make night time bathroom breaks easier. Awesom Full Face Mask. Definite top 3 to try.
