Do you think that sleep apnea takes a break during the day and won't happen when you sleep during the day and take a nap?

Whenever you sleep without cpap...you have the same old sleep you had before you got diagnosed and prescribed cpap.....untreated sleep apnea sleep and all the bad stuff that goes along with it to make you feel bad.

You don't get a hold over credit to help you out for nighttime use of cpap.
Doesn't work that way.

So yeah....nap without cpap means sleep without cpap which means untreated sleep apnea and all the bad stuff that goes along with it.

If you sleep...you wear the mask and use the machine...simple as that.
Nighttime or daytime or whatever...and that includes naps.
