Has anyone compared the energy efficiency of all the different makes and models of cpap machines? I have a Respironics System One I've been using for 9 years. It's the only cpap I've ever used and I have no complaints about it's performance. I can get 3-4 nights on a battery pack, without the humidifier. Since it's an older machine, I'm thinking there may be more energy efficient units out there now. And......go. :)

PAP Mask: Resmed P10
PAP Machine: Resmed S9 vpap auto
Pressure Setting: 18/13-25/19

There's no real difference.

PAP Machine: ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV
Humidifier: 10 Series HumidAir
Pressure Setting: EPAP 8-15 PS 4-12

It's likely the newer models are more energy efficient. By how much I wouldn't have a clue. No offense meant, but when I shop for PAP or NIV, I'm not looking for or expecting the Energy Star rating.
