PAP Mask: ResMed P-10 or DreamWear Nasal Mask
PAP Machine: ResMed AirSense 10
Humidifier: Built in to Machine
Pressure Setting: 6-18

Offline
I’ve been using a Resmed P10 with Med Pillow and am trying a Dreamwear Nose Pillow Med.
The Dreamwear has much bigger hole and my pressure on high pressure is too high.
When I did my titration it was with the P10 Medium, so I go for my 6 to 18.
The 18 is to high with the Dreamwear.
How do I figure out what my high pressure should be so I’m getting proper therapy with the Dreamwear ????

Why do you think the mask should make a difference? (it doesn't).

You're mistaken.

The mask doesn't affect what the max pressure should be on an apap.

PAP Mask: ResMed AirFit P10 or DreamWear Gel nasal pillows
PAP Machine: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her
Humidifier: ResMed AirSense 10
Pressure Setting: Depends on the machine as I actually have more than one

Diamaunt is correct...the mask doesn't change the pressure.

Now you might feel like 18 cm is different with one mask over another but it isn't. What we perceive or feel isn't always what is actually going on.

Use available software to see what the pressure is actually doing...does it spend much time up around 18? If it doesn't...limit the max to say 15 and see what happens with the AHI. If it doesn't increase much..and you sleep better without the annoyance of what you are perceiving...that's an acceptable compromise. Just because a machine wants to go higher doesn't always mean we have to let it go higher. All depends on why it wants to go higher.

I think I figured out the difference between the two masks the P 10 has much bigger bypass holes than the Dreamwear, so more air is going into my nose than before!!!

Since you haven't filled out your profile, all I can say is that CPAPs don't push air into your nose.
