I had a CPAP from BCBS from August-Dec through BCBS, not long enough to qualify to keep it. I changed insurance plans this year and the new one wants $1600 out of pocket for a new machine since I haven't met my deductible...I'm pretty sure I can buy one online cheaper than that. I had a Dreamstation with heated tubing and was using the ResMed N20 nasal mask, having tried the P10 nasal pillows which eventually irritated my nose and the Dreamwear which was so loud it woke me up. The Dreamstation was ok but bulky for travel. Any suggestions on which machine to get and/or where to buy it from? There are a lot of options and I have no idea which is the best, so appreciate any input on who's reputable or which machine might be better for work travel. I am likely just paying for this since insurance only covers 20% if I buy at their inflated DME outlet.

I've been compromised!!! So take that into account as you read.

I have an affiliate link at the top of the page for cheapcpapsupplies.com. If you enter discount code "lefty15", you get 15% off.

The others mentioned I have heard very good things about with regards to customer service. I have found that even before the discount code, cheapcpapsupplies has very low prices. They were very quick and helpful when I was a secret shopper with them (when checking them out prior to taking them on as a sponsor).

You can also use your insurance or pay cash.

Columbian,
If you do not use the humidifier on the dream station you can disconnect it and just travel with the XPap half of the machine. I had a Dreamstation auto briefly, was not the therapy I needed so did not keep it long. I picked mine up from Amazon for under $400.00 but the prices do vary quite a bit from the vendors on Amazon.
Good luck with your therapy.
