Hi,
I'm new to all of this. Got my first night sleep with my bipap on 11/16. Struggled with the initial mask being not fitting well and have been on my current mask just since 11/22. It fits well, comfortable and stays on. I have been getting 96, 97's on resmeds myaire registration software so I am wondering. How long should I expect to see any results in my extreme fatigue level. Still so tired... almost more than before bipap if that even seems possible! Thanks for your input. Great site, definitely worth donating to keep up and running for sure!

I am not familiar with that particular software and aire registration numbers. I can tell you that my doctor told me people sometimes sleep less at first, as the body adjusts and adapts to changes. Give it time. If you have had apnea for quite a while it takes time to get out of" sleep debt." Stick with it.

I put absolutely no value in the reporting metrics in MyAir.

I LOVE SleepyHead. Here is the link for a free download: https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/ Great software.

Here is a link that will hopefully get you up and running and comfortable with using it: http://freecpapadvice.com/sleepyhead-free-software

Your pressure likely isn't correct. Could also be a leak problem. Those are the two most common problems. If you need help, please don't hesitate to post some screenshots of your data from SleepyHead. There are several users of this forum that are excellent in interpreting that data.

For nice organization of the data in SleepyHead, look at diamaunt (user of this forum) and see his signature line. I believe he has a link that shows the best way to organize your data so only the useful information shows.

It varies, but in your case I think it's definitely worth taking a more in depth look. Kind of depends on your original diagnosis too.

Ok, i will get informed with sleepy head and keep ya posted. I was originally put on a 19 pressure. Woke up night 1 so bloated and extremely uncomfortable I called Dr. They reduced pressure to 15. Should I try having them move that back? Or up some a bit at a time?

If they're going to work with you, then I would do what they suggest unless you can convince them to do what you want.

I would never suggest someone go "rogue" when their doctor is working with them, but sometimes it has to happen.
