I'm new to the CPAP. How often should I clean the CPAP mask? And what should I use as the cleaning solution?

Thanks..

Daily. Unscented soap and lukewarm water goes a long way

How do you wash the mask if it has the fabric straps? I don't want the straps to get wet, and the straps don't come off my mask.

Your profile shows the ResMed AirFit P10 nasal pillow mask...is that correct?

The stretchy part of the headgear does indeed come off the frame so that you can wash the other stuff and not wash the stretchy part if you don't want to.

I didn't realize it either until I saw a video on how to put a new stretchy headgear on an old frame.

I use Mask Bright, just spray my F20 cushion daily, let set 2 minutes, rinse with hot water, dry with microfiber cloth. Hose, weekly, pour Mask Bright in hose, 2 tablespoons, move hose around 2 minutes, put water in w/ solution, move 2 more times, empty, put hot water in, move around, pour out, let dry. Humidifier, weekly. Clean just like cushion. Mask Bright does save a lot of time, and you don’t have to worry about soap suds later.
