If you have a DreamStation, how do you clean the main filter (not the disposable paper filter). My previous CPAP had a foam filter which I could easily clean with soap and water. I don't think just running a little water through it could clean it well enough. I've used a wet, soapy Q-tip, but would welcome a better solution!

I haven't cleaned a DS filter, but have, in a pinch, cleaned the resmed flat fliters... I just soap 'em up and kinda mash them between my fingers, to work the soap through... then rinse. I always use dish soap, like dawn. seems to do a good job.

I just run tap water through it backwards like maybe once a month.
