Dad (70 years old) started using Resmed Autoset for OSA, anyways, he has as well CHF (Chronic Heart Failure) -Moderate to Severe...

I wonder if there are any special cautions or settings (e.g. pressure range ) need to be considered for CHF cases?

Also should he expect improvements or maybe worsened cardiac symptoms in general (limited cardiac output due to high pressure, edema,...etc?...

All inputs, experiences, trusted documents, are really welcomed and apreciated...

My only experience was with a friend who I loaned a data capable machine to, and saw severe, extended CSR in his breathing, and advised him to go see a cardiologist.

He was diagnosed with severe CHF, 10-15% EF, I found him an ASV, and soon after, an oxygen concentrator, and between getting enough air at night, and meds, he got back up to around 45% EF.

There's a largely discredited study that suggested a very slight increased mortality with severe CHF and ASV, but .... poorly conducted, largely discredited.
