New here but not new to cpap. I started out 11 years ago using pillows and quickly switched to nasal masks and have had no problems until a couple of months ago. I lost 60 lbs in the last few months and am old so I think my face is sinking in or something. My favourite since it came out was the Eson (didn't like the Eson2) and that started leaking (first time seeing that angry red face on screen). I tried the Mirage FX and then back to Eson 1&2 and then tried the Brevida (pillows bothered me and seal no better). I finally bought the Resmed N20 and am finding that it is leaking as well.

I have tried loose and tight settings.

Just wondering if anyone developed a sunk face and found a solution for leaks?

Thank you and thank you for the forum and the great youtube mask reviews (that is where I get my ideas to try new ones).

PAP Mask: Practically tried them all.
PAP Machine: Use Phillips Respironics System One APAP with Aflex for mask testing
Humidifier: None
Pressure Setting: When testing, I use APAP with a range of 5-10

Just to play devils advocate, are you sure the leak isn't coming from your mouth? Any dry mouth in the morning?

Severe leaking like that with a nasal mask isn't typical at all.

I would think that there may be a need for a pressure change if you've lost 60 lbs (WOW!!!). It's highly likely that the pressure is now too much for you. Don't toss those masks just yet! If you're not using SleepyHead yet I would encourage you to do so to confirm this or rule it out.

Thanks. I do have to use Biotene so you might have something there. :-) I also have really red eyes though from the air blowing in my eyes so I thought maybe it was sagging face syndrome.
I will keep an eye out for mouth breathing more and maybe change pressure. Thanks so much for your help.
