ResMed AirFit P10:
The AirFit P10 is very easy to use right out of the box…or bag. The head gear essentially comes in two sizes. On is for larger
heads, blue. The other is “for her” for smaller heads and is pink. Seriously ResMed? Like there aren’t pinheaded guys running around? Or women with Peyton Manning like heads? Really…really? The head gear is very easy to put on and take off. I personally like that it stretches, but if your nose is in a position requires tightening or loosening, then you have to improvise. Widening or narrowing the distance of the split headgear will alter how tight the pillows are held in your nostrils. You can also position the entire thing over the crown, or lower on your head to achieve the same thing. In this case, the simplicity of the headgear may be too much. See the video for a demonstration of this.
The cushions are comfortable. Nothing much to say here. The diffuser is also quiet. Again, nothing special. Taking the mask apart and putting it back together is also pretty easy. Not many parts to speak of.
One thing that we didn’t like about the AirFit P10 is that there is no swivel where the tubing connects with the mask. (yes…just like the AirFit N10. This makes the mask feel somewhat restrictive. The use of a tube holder or draping the tube over a headboard is highly recommended if you sleep on your back with this.
